Who we are

What we collect
- Identity & contact: first name (optional), email address, password (hashed).
- Diagnosis data: your skin quiz answers, the routine generated, your goals and progress.
- Skin Journal: photos, notes and triggers you choose to log (Pro & Elite plans).
- Payment: processed by our PCI-DSS Level 1 partner. We never store your full card number.
- Technical: IP address, browser, pages visited (anonymized analytics).
Why we use it
- Generate your diagnosis and personalized routine.
- Provide the service (dashboard, AI coach, INCI Analyzer, Skin Journal).
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing).
- Improve the product (aggregated, anonymized analytics).
- Marketing — only if you opt in, one-click unsubscribe in every email.
- Legal compliance (tax, accounting).
Who we share with
Our payment processor (tokenization, recurring billing), our email provider (transactional and marketing), our hosting provider (cloud infrastructure), and our anonymized analytics tool. We never sell your data.
Retention
Account data: as long as your account is active, plus 5 years for accounting obligations. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. Technical logs: 13 months.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability and objection. To exercise them, email admin@aihaloskin.com. EU and UK residents are covered by GDPR; California residents by CCPA.
Security
Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed (bcrypt). Card data never flows through our servers.
Cookies
Essential cookies for the login session, and anonymized analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.
Changes
Material changes are notified by email to active users at least 30 days before taking effect.
